Project Manager

The Position

We are looking for an ambitious Project Manager to join a fast paced and customer focused implementation team.

Operating in a matrix management environment, the successful candidate will work with ICE and client senior management and project teams to scope and deliver projects to implement our ICE products.  You will be responsible for planning and managing the project delivery to our clients to meet their expectations, working with the delivery and product development teams to specify, develop and configure our core software to meet the customer’s needs. You will work closely with technical leads and our testing manager to drive the testing and release processes.   You will be responsible for the management of project resource throughout the project lifecycle coordinating the design, build and deployment of the ICE software.

Assignments may range from end-to-end implementations of one or more of our products to owning a portfolio of small change projects.

Location

Based in Camberley, Surrey, GU17 9AB – ICE are now operating a hybrid model, with two working days expected to be in the office per week.  Travel may be required to customer sites and other locations periodically.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidates will have following attributes:

  • Full project lifecycle management and ability to combine best practices from waterfall and agile delivery;

  • Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external;

  • Good understanding of packaged application delivery, ideally with experience of managing product implementations;

  • Budget management in a services environment;

  • Good communication skills;

  • Interest in technology and experience working with technical implementation teams

  • Pragmatic, delivery and solution focused;

  • Insurance industry experience is preferable, but not mandatory for a strong candidate.
