ICE Claims provides UIA Mutual Insurance with the ability to be more flexible and responsive to changes in its business. Jaz Patel, Head of IT UIA, describes how ICE Claims enables the home Insurer to reshape their business for the future.
UIA recognised their existing Claims Administration system did not meet their aspirational operating needs for the future. Their claims administration system involved inefficient and time-consuming processes. They had key elements that needed to be addressed, including processes not being aligned to their intended workflow and ensuring the underlying architecture meets today’s demands.
UIA and ICE InsureTech agreed a collaborative approach for the implementation of ICE Claims. During the Discovery phase, it was quickly identified how ICE Claims could be configured to deliver to UIA’s requirements. This included automating claims via configurable workflow, tailoring FNOL for different household perils and the migration of all household data from the existing system. The success of the implementation has led UIA to select ICE Policy as their replacement Policy Administration system.
